Welcome to The Common Room Project, we’re a 48-bed boutique accommodation in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Not quite a hostel, hotel, B&B, or homestay. You can call us a clubhouse with accommodation because we host you like a friend.

We believe that it is the people that make the experience. We've designed a cool communal space for travelers and Saigon residents to meet, share, and create meaningful connections.

We invite interesting, positive, creative people from all over - whether you're an entrepreneur, creative, foodie, professional, student, mover & shaker, or folks in-between.

Come hang with us! Or check out our journey: before and after photos.

"I met wonderful people at the Common Room Project who ended up being travel companions and lasting friends. I would recommend that anyone who is wanting to explore the social scene in Vietnam to stay at the Common Room Project."

Jonathan Luu

"Very nicely remodeled house, nice steel/concrete/wood construction, nice design. Very nice atmosphere among the people, specially around participative kitchen cooking time. Location is not in the center of the backpacker zone, which was nice according to me, more "local busy", less touristic. You might find even better, even more curated, but it will cost your more. Great beds, liners, pillows, towels."

- Vincent Bourgeois

"The space is conducive to getting to know other travelers, not just in a cursory manner, but to want to stay in touch and see where people end up. During my week long stay, it was not uncommon to find people coming together to cook and share a meal. It was also not uncommon to unwind on the breezy rooftop deck and end up trading stories with others. And if all you want to do is catch up on some work, there's a large wooden table downstairs where you can do that as well. The dorm rooms are spacious and airy, the beds will help you sleep well, and the staff do a great job maintaining the space. Thanks so much for creating the Common Room Project and bringing people together in this lovely, lovely place."

- Jojo Lam

"I had a perfect week in the common room, a well and detailed designed hostel concept which is quite rare at such a high standard of quality in vietnam. spacious, clean and stylish. especially when you're staying longer than just a couple of nights, you finding yourself feeling at home very quick."

- Jannis Z.

"This is a really cool space to connect with creative minded people. Check it out!"

- Megan Gomes
